Actian OpenROAD 5.1
The OpenROAD 5.1 release delivers general-purpose system classes for XML support, to allow creation and parsing of arbitrary XML documents without the need to use 3GL Procedures or External Class Libraries. It provides a new XML based export file format that is documented, human readable, produces clean differences between different revisions of a OpenROAD 4GL source files, allow changes to be merged, and allow OpenROAD source assets to be managed by many different Software Configuration Management (SCM) systems. This release of OpenROAD continues to extend the powerful capabilities of the product for the developer.
Patch #: 14922
Each patch contains a cumulative set of fixes produced since the last Service Pack or Release, whichever is the later, and hence includes all fixes previously issued. It can only be applied on to that specific version or the previous one (e.g. 5.1 or 2006). The patch has undergone Actian internal engineering tests, is fully supported by Actian but has not undergone the full QA test suite which is run for both full releases and Service Packs. Please also note that if you require patches for more than one platform the bugs fixed content may vary between platforms though Service Packs for any release will include the same fixes for all platforms.
